Little Treasures

Had the afternoon off today. A friend and I decided to go thrift store shopping for some treasures! Here are some of my finds. I especially like the bad-ass pink teacup!! And the fern necklace...and...the unicorn earring holder, the doll, the lipstick holder, the deer, and the earrings.

Okay, I can't pick one favourite.

It feels good to have a camera back though.

Something Old, Something New

I spent a good chunk of the afternoon 'thrifting' at various tiny antique shops.

I purchased a tea-cup covered in painted roses, a vintage doll - complete with a feather headpiece, and an old Nursery Rhyme book, which is full of beautiful images - some of which I hope to post soon.

Glitter on the Floor

I just want to take a moment to comment on how visually BEAUTIFUL Rihanna's new video "Only Girl" is! Wildflowers, girly outfits (Betsy Johnson!), rolling hills, balloons, over-sized roses, glammed out head-pieces, swings, glitter, rainbows, fireworks, fringe...it's almost overwhelming! What more could a girl want? I have noticed that more and more 'mainstream' videos are becoming artistic candy for the eyes.
Kanye's latest "Runaway" and Ke$ha's "Take it Off" -- all that glitter!! -- are absolutely stunning.

I am still here, promise. I have been terrible at keeping-up with blogging lately, as it's a busy time in the semester. Also, with the Holiday Season picking up I've been working quite a bit at MAC and at my second job Muse (a dress boutique), as well as doing some province to province travelling. I appreciate all your messages and I will be responding to them early this week. Thank you for checking in. I'll put up a proper post soon, with some new photos of November adventures!
